M L Montessori is located in a wonderful heritage campus on Islington Ave surrounded by beautiful parkland ensuring students absorb the wonders of nature.

M L Montessori is working towards academic excellence as well as assisting each student in developing good working habits, responsibility for their actions and respect for the environment, their peers and their teachers. We believe children need to become self-regulated, self-directing individuals ensuring that they become responsible for themselves and their education.

The development of self-discipline, self-motivation, commitment and responsibility must exist as we are trying to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual respect. The goal is that our children become good citizens of the world.

Parents are the most important people in each child’s life. By establishing a strong Parent-Teacher bond, we maximize all of the positive aspects of your child’s experience in Montessori.

Parent sessions and workshops are conducted throughout the year. These evenings give parents and teachers a chance to know each other as well as provide information on your child’s current and future programming. We also offer an extensive Parent Resource Library where families can access many excellent books on Montessori and Learning Pedagogies.
